Minneapolis Auto Repair

Honest-1 on Lyndale in Minneapolis has been our go-to car repair garage. Mostly we just have routine maintenance done like oil changes, etc but we have also had fairly complex repairs done here too. This garage, I can promise, has earned its namesake because I have personally known the owner for over 40 years. Every time I bring the car in, they are courteous, polite, and very professional. These guys really know what they’re doing and I trust them implicitly.

I had tires changed by this shop earlier in the year. My vehicle was due for an oil change and I had no hesitation on bringing it there. I received fantastic service at a great price like always. What really impressed me during this visit was the way all of the customer's were treated. There is never a feeling of being pressured in to repairs that may not be necessary. The simply diagnose the issues and provide information to the customer so they can make their own informed choices.

Outstanding work. Clean Fast and friendly. So professional and customer centered. Very Impressed and I am telling my friends and recommending your location. Makes a father calm to know there is service like this for his daughter when she lives away from home.

Won’t get into specifics, but I will say this place is definitely not honest. Typically take my car in to the dealership, but decided to maybe make a switch to this place since it’s close to home. Brought my car in for a simple oil change and they tried to sell me on multiple repairs. I left feeling frazzled because I wasn’t aware my car was falling apart. Decided to get a second opinion and took my car back to my regular dealership. This place was BSing me. My car was not leaking oil, nor was there anything wrong with my intake manifold like this place had claimed. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.
