Minneapolis Auto Repair

I've been going here for quite some time and was really disappointed by my latest experience. Brought my car in for a new radiator and they broke my driver side door handle while completing the repair. To add insult to injury, they expected me to pay 100% of the charges AND originally told me the only replacement color they could offer was black... my car is gray. Mark, the owner, was EXTREMELY dismissive and condescending when I explained this was not the service or standards I expected. I was honestly shocked by his lack of concern for customer service and unprofessionalism, especially in light of me being a regular customer. If you're looking for someone to take responsibility of their mistakes while your vehicle is in their care, this is NOT the place for you. Will not be going here again.

Had a great experience here. We were in Minneapolis for a night and ran over a curb...car sounded like it was injured in the process. Stopped in and the staff went over and above, in my book to make sure the car was road worthy. What relief. Regardless of. The outcome, they gave us the information we needed and got us on our way. We were so grateful we were able to interact with a knowledgeable and personable team. Lots of happy customers were coming and going while we waited. Thanks again for ensuring our safety.

Responded quickly, had a loaner car for me to use did fast quality work on my radiator.

Great experience each time I have worked with Honest Auto Care in Uptown! The staff is all incredibly helpful and friendly. You don't feel intimidated by what you don't know, I felt very confident that they were being honest with what needed to be done and that they would do it correctly!

I made an appointment for an oil change. Both the gentlemen on the phone, and the one behind the counter were very professional and friendly. They worked on my car right away and finished the work very quickly at a reasonable price. My general impression of the shop was professional and honest/trustworthy, exactly what I look for in a mechanic. I will definitely be back for all my auto maintenance needs.

I live in the area and scheduled an appointment for an oil change well ahead of time (two days), and it took them five hours to complete it (10am-3pm). I had to call twice to make sure they had my number/didn't forget they hadn't called. The in-person customer service was terrible besides. Would not recommend.

Thanks for your looking after my car, I'll be back in to have the rear differential fixed next week. But first, I've got to catch some fish!

Very impressed with Honest-1 Auto Care’s commitment to customer service & satisfaction and the friendly, genuine way in which they provide it!

I had to get my tires replaced after one of them went flat this past week. On dropping off and picking my car up, the manager who was working at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful. The whole process took about 3-4 hours total, and, as far as I can tell in the week since, everything was done well. I was very satisfied with my experience.

I had some issues with my windshield wipers that another mechanic had attempted to horrendously over charge me to fix. Honest one on Lyndale treated me fairly without any nonsense. I was able to get my AC charged and the wipers fixed for far less than what I was quoted for just the wipers (~50% less). I will definitely be back if I have another issue.
