Honest One does not stand by their work. I had my power windows fixed (or thought I had) last summer. When the driver’s side window stopped working again, they wanted to gouge me to get it working again. I offered to do the legwork by buying the window regulator and bringing it in, asking only that they install it. When I called, I spoke to Marc and he had the Minnesota Nice turned on 100% and the second I asked if they could install a part if I brought it in, his attitude became dismissive and I was told, “I don’t do that. I’m not making any money if I don’t sell parts.” I dunno, dude, perhaps try not telling people a certain part is ~$160 when you can look online and find dozens of options at a fraction of the price. As a matter of fact, I brought in my own part when another issue with the car was fixed last year. At the time, I was given no impression that this was being done as a courtesy or one-time kind of thing. I was looking forward to making this my full-time mechanic, but they are far from the only game in town and after this, I’d rather put myself through mechanic school than deal with these people ever again. Maybe this place should consider a name change.
